How was your weekend? We spent Sunday afternoon with friends. It provided the perfect escape from the tasks awaiting us at home.
Have you seen the new Winnie the Pooh movie, Christopher Robin? If not, I won’t spoil it for you here. It’s a great family friendly movie though, and I highly recommend going to see it. We all need a break from adulthood. We honestly contemplated giving up adulthood after watching the movie.
We had the opportunity to visit the Winnie the Pooh exhibit at the High Museum of Art. The exhibit was organized by the Victoria and Albert Museum in London. Artwork from the beloved storybooks is on display, along with memorabilia. There are also some interactive activities for children. It’s the perfect way to explore the history and legacy of the popular bear, Pooh.
If you’re looking for affordability, visit the High Museum on the second Sunday of the month. Between the hours of 12-5, admission is free. We ‘ordered’ our free tickets online. Parking will cost you, so be sure to bring some cash. The museum is currently undergoing some renovations and some sections are closed. We mainly visited for the Winnie the Pooh exhibit, but I look forward to visiting the rest of the museum in the future.
Well that was the highlight of our weekend, and I hope you enjoyed the pictures. Be sure to check back later this week for a project update!
