Happy Friday! Can you believe August is almost over? It did fly by. I’m really looking forward to September though, especially cooler temperatures. Have you started bringing out any fall decor? I’ve restrained, but I’m sure I won’t be able to resist the itch after Labor Day. Meanwhile, I’ve got to decide on a new end table.
I recently rearranged our living room…for like the twentieth time. Who’s counting? I’m pretty sure my husband is. It’s a really awkward space because of three pesky doors. I think I’m getting closer to the perfect arrangement. These things take time. During the chaos of moving furniture around, I also switched out some pieces. I actually introduced a bit more black to the space, and I really like it. I thought it would make it feel darker, but it actually just feels richer. Anyway, I’ve got to replace an existing end table next to one of my rattan chairs.
The gallery wall is a work in progress, but I absolutely love the original painting by Mike Carroll. I have decided the white frame in the dining room needs to be replaced. As you can see in the picture, the table is a bit too tall.
Here are my favorite contenders thus far. I’d love to know which one is your favorite. Leave your thoughts in the comments below!
#1 Crate & Barrel Spoke Marble End Table
#2 Pottery Barn Euclid Accent Table- Round
#3 Safavieh Ceramic Garden Stool
Each table brings a completely different look to the room. I must admit I’m leaning towards option #1 & #2. Once we’ve added the board and batten to the dining room, I think there will be plenty of white. I’ll share my final pick in the near future!
