O Christmas Tree

Can you believe December is already here? Santa is checking that list to see if you’ve been naughty or nice. Maybe you’ll be invited to visit the North Pole. Jump aboard the Polar Express to see our festive trees for the holidays. I’m sharing both our Polar Express and Harry Potter themed trees.

Christmas Weekend

I hope you had a wonderful Christmas, as did we. Ryan and I kicked off the holiday weekend with a ride on the Polar Express in Bryson City, North Carolina. We’ve enjoyed this adventure for many years now. It’s a magical ride for the entire family, and I’ve included a few photos from our trip to the North Pole.

Not only do you have the pleasure of enjoying a train ride to the North Pole, but you can also explore a fantastic train museum before or after your journey. It’s an interactive experience for train lovers young and old. Don’t forget the train shop! I enjoyed picking up new ornaments & Santa for my tree.

Upon returning home, we enjoyed a relaxing Christmas Eve. We ate cookies, played Scrabble, opened a couple of gifts, and enjoyed a holiday television special. I’ve included a few pictures from our Christmas below. Lucy had to be involved in the action, along with her sister Annabelle.

Christmas is truly my favorite time of year! I hope you had a wonderful one as well. Check back soon for my last update on our elf ‘Pig-Pen’.

Christmas is Near!

Is the excitement growing in your household? It sure is at our house! For many years now, we have enjoyed the Polar Express train in Bryson City, North Carolina. It reminds you that love is the reason for the season. Once aboard the train, everyone enjoys refreshments, reads the classic story, sings carols, and whispers their wish list to Santa. I encourage you to look it up and go with your family. No matter your age, it’s the perfect way to enjoy family!

I’ll post pictures from our North Pole journey soon. Until then, enjoy photos of our elf ‘Pigpen’. He has been very busy!
